For centuries we have adorned ourselves with every possible combination of metal, stone, and other materials, in order to secure or display status, to mark a significant event, or to simply feel beautiful. As cultures and societies have changed the reasons why we adorn our bodies are still the same. We all yearn for the beauty, joy, fulfillment, and status that making art and wearing art brings us.

Being in my studio is like curling up with your favorite blanket and a good book on a rainy day. It’s the place that keeps me sane. Its my world of creation that continually re-enforces for me that I am an individual and unique in my own right. My hope through ongoing studies and mastering new techniques is to develop a body of work that brings forth this recognition of self that I experience and transfers it to the person wearing my jewelry. We all deserve to feel unique and beautiful. This motivation is my inspiration.
Present : Ongoing studies of jewelry fabrication techniques, small scale photography, and gemology in my private studio.

Sept.05 - Oct. 05 : Weekly intensive instruction with private teacher in metal working.

00 - 06 : Constant study and development of beading techniques as well as stone grade education and recognition. During this time I worked for local publications as an advertising sales executive.
